Content creation / design & online campaign setup

The brief

Edgewater Fullscope is a leading Microsoft Dynamics AX and CRM partner, that operates globally. Hup was tasked with developing a new campaign for Microsoft Power BI, highlighting the new features of the solution and how it can revolutionise the way in which organisations view and report their data.

Hup met with key members of the corporate marketing organisation to develop the messaging and a theme that would speak to the target audience.

The campaign theme

A “Back to School” theme was chosen to encourage the target audience to re-think the way that they use data to make important business decisions. A sub-theme, entitled “connecting you to everything that is important”, highlighted the solution’s many data integrations with popular business applications. It used key logos that would be recognisable to the campaign audience.

A chalkboard/data style was used for the main campaign landing page with other supporting images used for subsequent email headers. Elements of the Microsoft Power BI brand colours were used throughout to tie in to the vendor brand. These colours were also used to enhance the likelihood of customer engagement via click throughs and so on.

The result

CTAs for the campaign included an eBook, a free Business Intelligence Assessment and a Video Case Study example. The main aim of the campaign was to educate customers and prospects about the power of the Microsoft Power BI solution.

Significant interest was created in among both target groups with 32 downloads of the eBook and at least 40 views of the BI video content. Elements of the campaign content have since been adapted and rolled out as site wide information about the benefits of Power BI in conjunction with Microsoft Dynamics.
