Celebrating a decade of Hup
This year marks 10 years since our agency was established. Founder and Creative Director Phil Fryer Ward looks at Hup’s achievements and what comes next.
It is hard to believe that it is a full ten years since the agency first started. Known at that time as Fyerward Ltd, we developed a name for helping technology firms to build their brands and to deploy marketing effectively across the globe. In 2015, we rebranded as Hup but continued to offer our clients a consultative approach to marketing services. Our ethos is that we wish to be considered an extended part of our clients’ organisation, where we add real value in both an advisory capacity and delivering the marketing content they need.
Much has changed in marketing and technology over the past ten years. The way in which we communicate with prospects and customers has been revolutionised through the rise in social media, more-connected technologies, such as marketing automation, and the nurturing cycle. Today, marketing seems to be more about engagement and personalising the approach to your customers and prospects. I am pleased to say that Hup has always taken this approach and the agency has experience across the depth and breadth of modern digital marketing.
Looking back at our past and at our current projects, I am proud to have achieved so much for so many organisations over this time. Hup’s aim is to maintain the same founding ethos and to continue to help our customers to grow and evolve. This ethos has resulted in some phenomenal results for our clients, typically leading to long-term and fruitful relationships.
We have been fortunate to have worked for many diverse and exciting brands, from technology startups to established global blue chips. While we have achieved great things for our technology clients, there have also been many opportunities to work with other industries. A particular highlight has been the chance to work with an award-winning English wine producer.
Since its foundation in 2007, the agency has focused on a personal and quality service. In future, we aim to maintain that focus and to continue to offer excellence at a competitive price. I want to keep it personal and to be transparent in everything we do. Trust is a much-used word, but for me that is what real business relationships are about.
While we celebrate the past ten years, we would like to thank all of our clients that have made Hup the success it is today. Here’s to the next ten years!
