EMEA – UK/DE/FR – Multi -language website design and development
Cherwell offers Enterprise Service & Operations Management through ITSM, Asset and Software License Management and SIAM. Hup was tasked with developing a new website that would answer the marketing requirements of the regional EMEA business, beginning with the UK English site.
If successful, the site would then be rolled out in German and French for the benefit of local markets. The framework therefore needed to take into account the multi-language approach.

Hup met with key members of the regional organisation to develop the messaging and a theme that would speak to the target persona in the EMEA English-speaking market.
Content was organised into four key silos that were based on site visitors’ main areas of interest. These emphasised the depth and breadth of Cherwell’s software capability.
Primary and secondary colours from the existing corporate pallet were used. The bright blue was switched for a dark slate blue that created a starker contrast with the bright orange accents. This gave more emphasis on call-to-action items and buttons that were designed to encourage engagement with the rich media and content downloads.
The new site was very well received by both the corporate and partner community resulting in the German and French versions being commissioned. Post launch, all three language versions created a significant increase in organic search footprint for Cherwell EMEA with an associated increase in lead flow from the sites.
